 Mr. Jinsheng Ren
Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Ren is our founder, chairman of the board of directors and our chief executive officer. Prior to founding Simcere in March 1995, he was from 1992-1995 a departmental manager at Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Industries Co., Ltd.. From 1982 to 1992, he was the vice general manager of Qidong Gaitianli Medicines Co., Ltd. Mr. Ren graduated from the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1982, majoring in Chinese Medicine, and received a master' s degree in Economics from the University of Macquarie in Australia in 2003. He is currently a guest professor at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and an adjunct professor of Northwest University in China. |

 Mr. Jindong Zhou
Executive Vice President
Jindong Zhou is Simcere' s executive vice president. He joined Simcere since 1996. Mr. Zhou had been the the general manager of Nanjing Simcere Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Simcere Dongyuan Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. And Simcere (Hainan) Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. Mr. Zhou graduated from the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1982 majoring in Chinese Medicine, and he received a master' s degree in Economics from University of Macquarie in Australia in 2008.

 Mr. Xiaojin Yin
Senior Vice President of Research and Development
Mr. Xiaojin Yin is our senior vice president in charge of research and development. From 2003 to 2006, Mr. Yin was the general manager of Jiangsu Simcere Pharmaceutical R&D Co., Ltd., and Simcere Research. From 2000 to 2003, he was the general manager assistant of both Simcere Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and a manager of Simcere Research. From 1992 to 2000, he was the head of the medical research department of the China Pharmaceutical University in Nanjing. From 1991 to 1992, Mr. Yin was the general manager of the medicine production facility at China Pharmaceutical University. Mr. Yin received a bachelor' s degree in Medical Sciences from China Pharmaceutical University in 1982 and a master' s degree in Industrial Engineering from the Nanjing University of Science and Technology in 2001. |

 Mr. Frank Zhigang Zhao
Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Frank Zhigang Zhao is our chief financial officer. Mr. Zhao joined our company in October 2006. From 2005 to 2006, Mr. Zhao was the chief financial officer of Sun New Media Inc. From 2003 to 2005, he was the vice president of finance at Faro Technologies, Inc. From 1996 to 2002, he was the vice president of finance at Resort Reservation Network. From 1993 to 1996, he was a senior accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Zhao received a bachelor' s degree in Economics from Beijing University in 1985 and an MBA degree from University of Hartford in 2003. He is a certified public accountant in the United States. |

 Mr. Peng Wang
Chief Science Officer
Mr. Peng Wang is our chief science officer. He has an over-20-year experience in pharmaceutical research and development. Prior to joining us in 2009, he was vice president and standing executive committee member of WuXi AppTec since 2008. from 1990 to 2008, he worked with Schering-Plough as co-chair of discovery teams and member of Early Development teams. Mr. Wang graduated from medicinal chemistry department of China Pharmaceutical University. Between 1983 and 1984, he studied in biochemistry department of Sichuan Medical University in 1984, he entered the University of Tokyo in 1984 and received a doctor’s degree in pharmaceutical science department in 1990. |

 Mr. Huaping Fu
Vice President of Commercial Sales
Mr. Huaping Fu is our vice president of commercial sales. In 1994, he joined Simcere and served successively as regional manager, commercial sales director, the general manager of marketing department and assistant to our CEO & the general manager of Zhejiang branch. Between 1987 and 1994, Mr. Fu worked with Yangzhou Research Design Institute of Chemical Industry and Nanjing Research Institute of Applied Chemistry as a scientific research professional. Mr. Fu graduated from the applied chemistry department of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 1987. He received a master degree of science in chemistry from Nanjing University and an MBA from People’s University of China. From 2006, he studied for a doctor’s degree of economic management at Nanjing Agricultural University. |

 Mr. Jialun Tian
Vice president of hospital sales
Mr. Jialun Tian is our vice president of hospital sales. From 2000 to2008, he worked with Simcere as the assistant manager of general manager office, regional manager, commercial sales director and the general manager of commercial sales department, deputy general manager of Jiangsu Simcere, the general manager of purchasing department, south China division general manager, and assistant to our CEO. Prior to joining Simcere, Mr. Tian had been the manager of financial department of Nanjing Kokhai Biotechnical Co.,Ltd., operational deputy general manager of Nanjing Luhe Pharmaceutical Factory, and the manager of financial department of Nanjing C&O Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. Mr. Tian graduated from the accounting department of Jiangsu Radio and TV University. He received an MBA from Tsinghua University in 2002 and an MBA from Hong Kong Baptist University in 2008. |

 Mr. Xiaohua Yang
Vice president of hospital sales
Mr. Xiaohua Yang is our vice president of hospital sales. Since 2000, Mr. Yang has been the sales director, regional sale general manager, the general manager of hospital cooperation department as well as the assistant to the CEO of our company. From 1995 to 2000, he worked with Simcere as regional pharmaceutical sales representative, local manager and regional manager. He joined Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Industry Corporation in 1993. Between 1989 and 1993, he worked at Zhenjiang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Mr. Yang received a bachelor degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1989, and an MBA from Renmin University of China in 2003. |

 Mr. Qinseng Li
Vice President of Human Resources
Mr. Qinseng Li is Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining Simcere Pharmaceutical Group in October 2008, Mr. Li was the General Manager of Human Resources and the General Manager of the Training Center of Taikang Life Insurance Co., Ltd.. From 1997 to 2004, he served as the Vice President and Director of Human Resources of Beijing Novartis Pharma. Ltd. Between 1992 and 1996, he was the Deputy General Manager and the Director of Human Resources & Administration of Beijing Ciba - Geigy Pharma Ltd. Before that he worked from 1981 to 1991 at Beijing No. 3 Pharmaceutical Factory, in various positions including personnel manager.Mr. Li graduated from Beijing Chemical College in 1981 with a degree in pharmaceutical engineering, and then granted a bachelor of pharmacy from Beijing Medical University in 1989. In 1998, Mr. Li received an MBA from China Europe International Business School.

 Dr. Haibo Qian
Secretary to Board of Directors and Company Secretary
Dr. Haibo Qian is our secretary to the board of directors and our company secretary. From 1993 to the present, he has held various roles at our group, including chief inspector, special assistant to the chief executive officer, market strategy department manager, and department general manager. In 2005, he was also the special assistant to the chief executive officer of Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd.. From 1986 to 1993, Dr. Qian was the director at the Health Economics Department of Nanjing Medical University. He received a bachelor' s degree in Law from Nanjing Normal University in 1986, graduated from Shanghai Medical University in 1993 majoring in Health Economics, and received an MBA from Nanjing University in 2002. He received a Ph.D. degree in Management and Social Medicine from the China Pharmaceutical University in 2007. Dr. Qian is a certified pharmacist. |
