Chairman of the Board and
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Ren Jinsheng, the founder and currently the Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Simcere Pharmaceutical Group Limited, is responsible for the Company's overall strategy and business operations, and makes major business and operational decisions for the Group. Mr. Ren Jinsheng graduated from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine in 1982 and obtained his MBA from Nanjing Normal University. He was certified as a researcher (natural science) and senior economist by the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Jiangsu Province. He won a second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, and currently serves as the Vice President of China Pharmaceutical Innovation and Research Development Association, Vice President of Jiangsu General Chamber of Commerce, and Vice Chairman of Nanjing Federation of Industry and Commerce.

Dr. Tang Renhong, currently the Executive Director of Simcere, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Simcere Zaiming, has overall leadership and responsibility for the Group's research and development (R&D) affairs. Dr. Tang Renhong has many years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D and management. He once served as the Vice General Manager of Shanghai Shengdi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Associate Director of AstraZeneca Innovation Center China. Earlier in his career, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, from April 2007 to May 2009. Dr. Tang Renhong graduated in 2002 from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and later attained his Ph.D. in Molecular Cell Biology from Nanyang Technological University in 2007.

Chief Financial Officer
Wan Yushan, currently the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, is responsible for the Group's financial and legal affairs management and financial strategy formulation, and is also in charge of the process and information affairs. Mr. Wan Yushan joined Simcere in 2000 and has since assumed the positions of Financial Controller, General Manager of the Finance Department, Vice President, and Chief Financial Officer. In 2019, he was officially appointed as the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He also holds directorships in several subsidiaries of the Group, including Hainan Simcere, Shandong Simcere, and Simcere Pharma. Mr. Wan Yushan graduated from Nanjing University with a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry in 1992 and obtained his master's degree in Management (majoring in accounting) from Nanjing University in 1999. In 2009, he was admitted as a non-practicing member of the JiangSu Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Ms. Wang Xi, who has rich experience in enterprise management, is currently the executive director and vice president of the Company and is responsible for managing the procurement and supply chain departments of the Group, as well as the quality management, material control, and business matters of Jiangsu Simcere Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., an affiliated company of the Company.
Ms. Wang Xi has served as Chairman of Simcere Zaikang Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. since 2018, Director of Nanjing BioSciKin Technology Development Co., Ltd. and Director of Beijing Sanroad Biological Products Co., Ltd. since 2020, and Director of Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Industry Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Executive Director and General Manager of Nanjing Xinjiye Technology Development Co., Ltd. from 2015 to 2022.
Ms. Wang graduated from Nankai University in 2006 with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Business Administration for senior managers at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).

: Zhou Gaobo

Chief Investment Officer
Zhou Gaobo, currently the Chief Investment Officer of the Company, is responsible for the Company's innovative drug investment and cooperation expansion, new investment platform construction, and strategic planning and practice. Before joining Simcere, Mr. Zhou Gaobo has accumulated more than 15 years of management consulting experience in the healthcare industry. He served as the Global Managing Partner and Co-Leader of the Greater China Healthcare Practice at McKinsey & Company, during which he was committed to providing strategic and management consulting services to leading companies in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical device, and life science investment, explored corporate strategies, innovative business models, digital transformation, and investment cooperation in the context of China's medical reform and innovation, and established the largest medical management consulting team in the industry. Prior to this, he worked on the R&D of antibody-based and fusion protein drugs at Human Genome Sciences (HGSI). Mr. Zhou Gaobo holds an MBA from Duke's Fuqua School of Business, a master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Maryland, and a bachelor's degree in Genetics from Fudan University.

: Felix Wang, phD

Dr. Wang Feng is the Senior Vice President of Simcere Pharmaceuticals. He is responsible for the management of the R&D system, and Collaborative Innovation Division of Simcere. Dr. Wang Feng joined Simcere in 2007 and has served as general manager of the medical marketing department, vice president of the Nanjing Research Institute, Dr. Wang has extensive experience in regulatory registration and has led/participated in the R&D and marketing of multiple innovative drugs of the group. Dr. Wang received a master's degree in Microbiology and Biochemical Pharmacy and a doctorate in Social and Administrative Pharmacy from China Pharmaceutical University. He currently serves as the Secretary-General of the Pharmaceutical Policy Professional Committee of the China Pharmaceutical Innovation and Research Development Association(PhIRDA).

: Goh Aik Han, MD

Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Aik Han Goh, currently the Senior Vice President of the Company and Chief Medical Officer, is responsible for the overall clinical development in R&D.
Dr. Goh has over 20 years of experiences in clinical and pharmaceutical industry. He was the Chief Medical Officer of Reistone Biopharma. He worked as the clinical development director for more than 10 years in GSK, both at the London head office and the China R&D center. His expertise focuses on neuroscience, autoimmune, and respiratory therapy areas.
Dr. Goh also has significant experiences as a physician. He is a UK General Medical Council (GMC) registered doctor and worked in the UK NHS Hospitals as a gastrointestinal surgeon. He is also a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow.
Dr. Goh received his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from the University of Aberdeen, UK, and has subsequently received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Aberdeen.

: Tamas Oravecz, PhD

Dr. Tamas Oravecz, currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer of Simcere Zaiming, is responsible for developing and advancing the Company's strategies for early-stage R&D in the United States.
Dr. Tamas Oravecz once served as the Chief Scientific Officer of Parthenon Therapeutics, Vice President and Global Head of Cell Therapy Platform and Discovery at Johnson & Johnson, Executive Director of Biology and Pharmacology at Celgene, Vice President of Immunology and Oncology at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals, and Head of HIV Therapy Program at Novartis. He also worked at the National Institutes of Health/Food and Drug Administration, and the Biological Research Center of Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
Dr. Tamas Oravecz obtained his master's degree in Molecular Biology and doctoral degree in Immunology from the University of Szeged.

: John Wang, PhD

Senior Vice President
Dr. John Wang, currently the Senior Vice President of the Company, is responsible for driving the BD&L and corporate development strategy, ensuring high-quality execution with a focus in the U.S. market, aligning with the goal of expanding Simcere's pipeline and commercial capbility.
He was previously the Associate Vice President, Head of External Innovation, Immunology for Eli Lilly, leading collaboration, licensing, and acquisition deals in immunology therapeutic areas. Before that, John worked at Merck and Sanofi in Business Development, with primary focus in search and evaluation, due diligence, and alliance management. Early in John’s career, he worked in a research capacity in neuroscience at Wyeth.
John received his Ph.D degree in Pharmacology from the University of London, St George’s Hospital Medical School, UK; He conducted his postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School and Boston University School of Medicine.

: Wang Yongyu, MD

Dr. Yongyu Wang, currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Simcere Zaiming, is responsible for the for the overall clinical development in R&D of Simcere Zaiming. Dr. Wang has over 20 years of experiences at Novartis in oncology drug and business development in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry spanning from Phases I through III for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. Dr. Wang served as Senior Clinical Development Medical Director at Novartis, leading clinical development of CDK4/6 inhibitor and a few other projects for solid tumors. Dr. Wang earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Shanghai Medical University, and completed postdoctoral training at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Dr. Wang also earned a Master’s degree in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health. She is a Member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO).

Mr. Shen Jun currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Board of Simcere Zaiming, responsible for the company's financial management, strategic planning, capital market activities, and investor relations. Prior to joining Simcere Zaiming, Mr. Shen accumulated nearly 15 years of experience in capital markets and financial management in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. He served for an extended period in the Investment Banking Department of China International Capital Corporation Limited (CICC), where he focused on primary and secondary market financings, domestic and overseas IPOs, mergers and acquisitions, and led numerous benchmark capital market deals in the emerging pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Mr. Shen holds Fellowship of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) .
